Bespoke mother-of-the-bride outfit

This customer came to me with a roll of this beautiful embroidered dupioni taffeta to make a coat for her daughter’s wedding. She wanted a full mother-of-the-bride outfit that was also comfortable. I sourced a burgundy crepe fabric that complemented the fabric she brought. I designed her dream coat, a camisole and trousers as it was her choice of garments. The illustration shows the final concept.
