Tweed coat repair

This customer returned to request another repair, this time of a tweed parka that had developed damage to the pocket. For this repair, I sourced samples of the most similar tweed fabric. One of the samples was large enough to make this repair with the slight design change to the pocket. My customer was happy to go with this option. I created a matching seam detail to integrate new pockets into the original design.

If you have a garment that has developed some visible damage and you still keep it in the closet as it is too good to throw away, consider checking if I can repair it, so you can enjoy it again.
